Summer 6 - Festering Canals

Posted by Brian Tyrrell on

A gentle breeze brings your trusty Noonmessenger to your Clinic's stoop. He pauses in the afternoon heat, sipping from a cool glass of slow-brewed mint tea that you have ready for any visitors.

"Here, have a look at this" he chirps between guzzling sips. "It's not officially a letter for you, but we messengers were given a bulletin from the Loggnawers. Apparently there's some kind of ear thing going around? Makes you all dizzy. I'd be careful where you stick your head, if I were you." With a wink and a chuckle, the robin is once again flying off on his route.

Ailment - Festering Canals

Intermediate. INFECTION 2, SENSES 2. Timer 7.

An ear infection is causing this beast to lose all ability to coordinate their movements. They're dizzy, clumsy and confused - a dangerous combination for a beast. Anything could pounce of them in this state!

Conseqeunces:

Tumble (4); if you can't resolve this Ailment before the Timer reaches 4, the patient takes an unfortunate tumble. Add PAIN 2 to this Ailment.
